Sisstrevolution 7 Seas 5/4 Chest Zip Full wetsuit - Green

This is an amazing wetsuit, an upgrade from my hooded 5/4 mm Billabong Synergy, which I've had for 4 years. Both are listed as mid-range, but this suit is so much better.

First, it's made of Japanese limestone, which is really as advertised softer and stretchier. That just made it so much easier to put on. It is also more environmentally sustainable.

Second, the liquid tape cuffs to prevent flushing is real. Wow, it's amazing to not be freezing for a minute when water gushes in right when you get into the water. The liquid tape is in a pattern such that it blocks most of the water from all going in at the same time, so it comes in at a trickle, or at least that's what it felt like. It's a bit cold but only in small streams, not like all of a sudden gushing all over your body at once. That made the experience getting into the water sooooo much better and comfortable. Less anxiety in cold water (12°C, near the North Sea) helps so much with the whole session.

Third, it's a better fit. Fit varies from person to person, but I generally find it's hard to find my fit in Western wetsuits, as I'm short and curvy, and Asians have a different body shape e.g. shoulders from Caucasians that Western clothes are designed for. I read contradictory things about this suit, somewhere saying it fits curvy, somewhere else said it fits slim. I can say that it definitely fits curvy fine. I'm US 12 / UK 14 by circumference, not height, so, not slim. I think because the limestone material is more stretchy, it fits more body types. My Synergy was baggy at the belly and at the shoulders. The Sisstrevolution 7 Seas feels a bit tighter on top of the shoulders, so I was a bit worried it'd restrict shoulder motion, but I hadn't noticed it in particular in the water. A better fit is always better for less water to be sloshing around and creating drag.
