Being the granddaughter to Joyce Hoffman leaves some pretty big shoes to fill as a female surfer in this historic families lineage. Indie has jumped into those shoes, laced them tight, and has taken off running. Born and raised in Southern California, Indie isn’t a one tricky pony and can ride a longboard with the smoothest of grace while in contrast explode off the lip while riding a shortboard. Already a world traveler, Indie has surfed in Mexico, Indonesia, & Australia. She hopes a trip to Tahiti comes in the near future but for now she will continue to enjoy surfing in her backyard at SanO and Trestles .
